Incorporating Your Toddler Into Your Maternity Photos
Lifestyle maternity sessions are designed to be flexible, playful, and centered around your child’s personality. Toddlers are curious, energetic, and emotional—and all of that is welcome. Some of the most beautiful images come from simply following their lead.
It is completely okay if your toddler brings a favorite toy along. In fact, I encourage it. A stuffed animal, blanket, or small comfort item can help them feel secure and relaxed. If they want to hold it, play with it, or include it in a few photos, that becomes part of your family story.
Breaks are also expected and encouraged. If your child needs a snack, a drink, or a moment to reset, we pause. If they want to run around and play, we let them. A relaxed child always photographs better than a forced one, and there is no pressure to stay still or pose perfectly.
How to Keep Your Maternity Session Relaxed and Fun
