Although In-home lifestyle photography sessions are often most popular for newborn sessions, these relaxed portrait sessions are such a great way to document your family no matter the season of life you are in! The primary goal of lifestyle photography is to capture authentic and real moments, and although this is my aim in all of my photography sessions, it is even more so during these special in-home sessions!
In-home lifestyle portraits allow your family to be a bit more at ease than they might typically behave in front of the camera. For little ones (or camera-shy parents) an in-home session provides an environment that your entire family feels comfortable in, allowing their unique personalities to really shine! This type of session is very relaxed and has very little pressure for everyone involved. We will gravitate toward the spaces in your home that you spend the majority of your time in or that have special meaning to you. Your little ones are free to come and go as they would like and can even take breaks to show me their favorite toys or their bedroom!
If you have been putting off scheduling family photos because you are dreading getting everyone ready and driving across town to a location or you are afraid of putting in all of the prep time only to have a grumpy kiddo, an in-home session might be just the perfect thing for you!
