I am so in love with this fall family photography session with the sweet Olson family in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. This session was one of the last of my outdoor photo sessions before the Chicago weather started turning too cold for most little ones, and I am so grateful to have closed out the busy season on such a high note!
Not to mention, this session couldn’t have taken place in a better, or more iconic, Chicago location! The Nature Boardwalk at the Lincoln Park Zoo is a wildlife escape in the middle of Chicago. If not for the city’s skyline perched above you could easily walk the half-mile boardwalk around the pond and forget you are in the city, and it is such a wonderful setting for family photos! Chad, Laura and Elliot were such an absolute joy and their session was full of smiles and kisses. My favorite moments were when sweet Elliot kept waving at all the runners who passed by on the bridge and then was curiously asking when all the zoo’s animals would wake up from their naps!
It was so great to document these fun moments for such a wonderful family!
