It was so wonderful to work with parents-to-be Natalie and Gregg for this beach maternity session at Chicago’s Oak Street Beach just off of busy Lakeshore Drive. Maternity sessions are always a special way to celebrate the anticipated arrival of your new little one and capture those special moments between expectant parents before their lives are changed forever. Not to mention the fact that beach sessions are always stunning, but a maternity beach session always feels just a little bit extra special!
Expectant parents Natalie and Gregg first met in grad school and have lived in Chicago for nearly five years. Natalie was absolutely glowing in her lace blue dress and husband Gregg was completely smitten. Due in November, these soon-to-be parents chose not to find out the sex of baby Silver which always adds just a bit of extra excitement and anticipation! They think that baby Silver might be a boy, but whether a boy or a girl it is so evident that their sweet little baby will be so unbelievably loved!
At this session, Natalie, a native Floridian, was perfectly at home on the Lake Michigan beach. Natalie was such a trooper and more than willing to stand in the cold Lake Michigan waters and she looked absolutely amazing! I applauded Natalie for her fearlessness in the cold and Gregg sweetly commented that it is one of the things he loved most about her. How sweet is that and how lucky is baby Silver?
