One of the things that families tend to worry about the most in the days leading up to their sessions is how to coordinate the wardrobe for everyone in their family. However, as a mom myself I try to make this as simple as possible so that you and your family can enjoy your session and making memories together that will last forever!
To do this, I send a detailed style guide ahead of every session that you book with me that details the best places to shop for everyone in your family, the colors and patterns that photograph best, and even how to incorporate accessories. I always want this process to be as easy as possible for you, but especially when you have just welcomed a newborn to your family!
For a lifestyle newborn session it is important for you to feel and look your best, but to also be comfortable! Light, flowing dresses are a great way for new moms to achieve this and dads are usually most at ease when they are in a relaxed t-shirt or button down. For baby, I usually recommend that we keep things simple with a neutral onesie in addition to capturing a variety of swaddled and diaper-only images so that we can document your little one in as many ways as possible!
