It was so nice to be able to photograph the wonderful Champion family this winter in Lincoln Park. I was lucky enough to meet sweet Charlotte last summer when she was just a few days old for a Fresh 48 hospital session at Prentice, and it was so exciting to see how much she has grown and changed since then! Charlotte, Anna and Jake brought along their adorable (and incredibly well-behaved) dog Asti. I always love when families bring their fur babies along for a session because there is just nothing better than dogs and babies, am I right?
This outdoor session is a perfect example of how you can keep things simple, easy and convenient for your family photo session and still have wonderful family photos. Living in Lincoln Park, the Champion family did not want to have to venture too far from home with both little Charlotte and Asti in tow, so we opted for a park within walking distance of their home. Chicago is a city full of incredible landmarks that make for picture perfect backdrops, but family photos can be just as special at any location that means something for your family – whether in your home or at the playground!
